        Amateurishly written rhyming verses portray a gimmicky anthropomorphized drop of water as it travels around the world in various states of matter. The text relies on cultural stereotypes and gee-whiz facts in an attempt to incorporate language arts, social studies, and science. The arduous task of finding that drop in the bland illustrations takes readers even farther away from the science.
